“I know enough to not go trying to escape the inevitable. At least, currently I do,” Levi said with a shrug, a smile forming on her lips. “And if you’re the person I meet up with? Well, I won’t run from you. Seems all kinds of foolish to try, knowing that if you wanna stop me, you’re gonna.” A serious downer of a thought, but a truthful one. If meeting up with Lilith was the last thing she was going to do, well, she’d go wherever Lilith had to take her, and probably joke about various little things along the way.
Especially people who did stupid things like trying to jump from tree to tree to get away. When those words came out of Lilith’s mouth, Levi covered her mouth and tried her hardest to hold back the laugh that wanted to come forward. In her mind, she could only imagine that scene playing out. The image was cartoony, which made it even funnier, and she did find herself laughing. Quite hard, truthfully.
She covered her mouth completely, laughing behind the safety of her hand. Hanging her head a bit, she shook it and let herself laugh it out, before speaking. “Someone actually tried to monkey their way out? That’s hilarious,” she stated, starting to laugh all over again. It was true— Lilith was quite tall. Considerably taller than she was. That just made the image more amusing.
“I try to know what I’m going into if I’m going into something,” she said after she caught her breath. A crooked smile found her lips. “Sometimes, I don’t do it well. But that’s normal, really,” she added, shrugging a little. “Humans are weird and make lots of mistakes.”

– “I have a lot of other occurrences where people have tried funny things to flee,” she responded, trying to hide a light smile. She seemed to enjoy talking about her experiences with people in between the states of life and death. Some of them were actually rather pleasant; others had.. resulted in bloodshed on her end. “Some of them even warn me they’re going to do it, just to get one last kick out of them before they leave. It’s actually quite entertaining.”
She’d come home the one time, when she had a ghost taking up residence in her house, bloodied up and covered in bruises and scratch marks. The ghost, of coursed, flipped its shit and had tried its best to patch her up, though it had been nothing too painful for Death to handle.
"The one thing I’ve noticed about humans- especially in this country- is that they seem to like wanting independence from everything. That.. and power,“ she said, lightly chuckling. "I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen power come into play at even the most simplest of ideas, positions, and establishments. I find it interesting, though I should not be speaking about this subject like this.”
For, just like the humans she was talking about, she also was power hungry. She loved having the upper hand in a fight; she loved everything about her position. Yet, even still, she was still craving power, and she was going to get it one way or another. Unlike most of the humans, she knew that power also meant patience, and patience was something she seemed to have a lot of.
